Public Order and Safety project format

In the previous publication, there was a brief description of the project, its goals, objectives, target audience, thematic component, as well as plans and prospects for development. Today I will tell a little about the planned format of its work.

Authors send their manuscripts to the project's editorial board, where they are checked for compliance with the thematic and informational concept of the project, if necessary, corrections are made which are obligatory agreed with the author, the thematic section is determined, after which the article (review, review, study, project, etc.) is accepted for publication.

The main site of the project will be the central site for publishing the materials sent by the participants. All publications will be divided by thematic areas (to date there are seven such areas), perhaps in the future there will be an additional division, by author or community. A preliminary list of thematic sections with a description of promising topics and issues for research, will be published on this blog, in one of the next articles.

In addition to materials, personal pages of their authors will also be formed, containing brief information about their professional and scientific experience, interests, posted and planned publications, and ways of communication.

The main platform for discussion of published materials will be a forum (it is currently in the process of being formed). Many will tell that for today Internet-forums is an obsolete and extinct format, it can be so, but for the purposes of the project, namely: civilized communication and constructive discussion, this type of electronic site is optimal. Let me remind you that the project is not commercial or populist. It is planned as a highly specialized resource, designed for a small, authors and participants of discussions, at best, the total number of users will be a few thousand people, but no more. Additional arguments about the benefits of this format, will be outlined in more detail, a little later, in a separate publication.

News about the work of the project and communities, as well as announcements of published materials will be posted in blogs and project groups on social networks.

For communication with the editors are available: private messages, groups, email, and a special section of the forum (will be available after the launch of the forum).

Your suggestions and requests can be submitted in comments. We will be glad to communicate with you in a constructive manner.

Regards.

Project Editorial Board.

Blog rules

To avoid conflicts and misunderstandings arising in the process of posting and discussing posts, please make sure that you, our subscribers and guests, read the rules of conduct on our blog:

The «Public Order and Safety» blog is a highly specialized community, therefore only posts related directly or indirectly to the thematic component of the project are discussed and published here. Messages on other, not related to the activities of the project - are not published, no exceptions are made, for no one.

Comments FORBIDDEN:

1. insults in any form, to individuals or communities, on the basis of national, racial, religious, social, professional, political or other affiliation.

2. Extremist statements or appeals to individuals or any social (professional, religious, political, ethnic, etc.) groups.

3. Statements which justify the activities of terrorist or extremist organizations (movements), crimes, their perpetrators or criminality as a social phenomenon.

4. The use of profanity.

5. Spam (advertising).

6. Transitions to personalities, discussion of the personal characteristics of the authors, editors, participants or guests of the blog.

7. Placing links to other resources without prior agreement with the blog's editor.

8. Flooding (posting information not relevant to the topic of the posted post or the blog as a whole).

In addition, note that our community is completely out of politics. We do not address political issues and do not participate in discussions on political topics.

We also do not welcome comments such as «It won't work...», «Not in this country...», «Bullshit, nonsense, stupidity...» and the like. Comments with that and similar content will be deleted, and their authors will be added to the «Black list» after a warning (if it doesn't work).

This is not a fight against dissent, but a demand for constructive dialogue. Any criticism is welcome as long as it is substantiated and the author backs up his opinion with arguments, rather than simply expressing his disagreement in categorical terms, believing that the phrase «Because I said so!» is sufficient as an argument.

We wish you a pleasant conversation.

Sincerely.

Editorial staff of the project.
